The original 3D scan was produced by the Visual Computing Lab of the ISTI - CNR, which holds the copyright to the model. It is used here with permission of the ISTI-CNR. A 200,000-face model is available from the ISTI-CNR Visual Computing Lab Gallery. The mesh used here is a cleaned, reduced-polygon version produced using the MeshLab system. A few additional modifications were made with AC3D, and the result was exported from AC3D to OGRE mesh format before being imported into Blink 3D. The "chrome" material was applied to the model in using the Blink 3D Builder. A full-screen version of this model can be seen here. A version without the applied "chrome" material is available here.
